Colorado-for-FREE

After the stress of losing our puppy on Friday, Lars & I decided we needed to get away from the house. However, with little money we were not sure what to do so I started doing some research online to find out what there is to do around Denver that is FREE.... I found this really neat website- www.colorado-for-free.com. It lists out tons on activities you can do for free all across Colorado. As I read about the different activities, we narrowed it down to three and if we saw something we wanted to do while we were out we would just do it. So here is our wonderful FREE day we had in Denver!

Saturday:
1. Colorado Sports Hall of Fame at Invesco Field

Lars was so enthralled in the Bronco's team history!

Can you imagine watching football players trying to play in gear like this.... WOW!!!

2. Coors Brewery Tour in Golden, CO
 Cheers!!

3. Lookout Mountain & Buffalo Bills Grave

 Aren't we just adorable?!?!

Our FREE day turned into a weekend and on Sunday we went to...
1. Dinosaur Ridge

This was such a neat place to go! We hiked around and went to the top of the ridge where the view is spectacular. Just a cool place to go to see a small piece of history!

2. Red Rocks Park & Amphitheater

Walking around Red Rocks was great and you can't beat the view... It really makes me want to go to Movie on the Rocks or Reggae on the Rocks.... we'll see...
